I prepared a statement on the [Diosdado] Macapagal charges. I attach copy.

And the New York Times biased editorial and reporting.

I met Gen. Delfin Argao who was the Constabulary (Japanese sponsored) commander in Bulacan when Gen. Alfredo Santos and Col. Fidel Cruz spirited me out of the Japanese dragnet in Manila for me in August 1944. Gen. Argao helped me conceal myself in Malolos in the house of Florante Roque. I sent gifts of my watch to them.

I attach copies of my letters the next day.

And a cable of Amb. Pangandanan on the MNLF [Moro National Liberation Front] internal quarrel over leadership in Saudi Arabia.

And the New York Times as usual prejudiced editorial remarks on the military bases negotiations.
