None of his investments have been profitable. He has suggested buying land in Australia.

But they see me tomorrow at 11:45 AM. [Luis] Chavit Singson saw me this evening to seek an appointment. He claims that the provincial jail warden, Quirino de la Cruz, was killed by the men of Crisologo. Sounds improbable because the warden was a Crisologo man.
Met the young beauties who are going to Osaka Expo ’70 with Imelda. The first groups leave 14th and 15th then Imelda leaves on the 19th. They are going to attract a lot of attention in Expo ’70. It was originally my idea that we send beautiful girls and this has marked the Philippine pavilion, notwithstanding how small it is.
