So the Kukui and the LCM [landing craft mechanized] fleet could be a versatile and self-contained sea-lift system for a wide variety of cargoes.

I attach the copies of the description of the vessels.

We should be able to hold an impressive turn over of these vessels.

The morning was dedicated to interviews by Bannawag and U.S. World and News Report (Bud) Marick.

And the afternoon to the study of the funding of projects specially the development of extractive mining.

Tonight Imelda attended the Oledan wedding. I do not attend weddings anymore.

There is a mounting pressure for the recognition of Bangla Desh [sic]. But I have insisted that the Asean [Association of Southeast Asian Nations] nations act as one on this question.

1) authorize the transfer of administration and custody of the Aguinaldo Mansion in Kawit, Cavite from the National Museum to the National Historical Commission; and
2) revised the membership of the Executive Committee charged with the observance of the 30th anniversary of the Fall of Bataan and Corregidor. As amended, the committee members include the governor of Bataan province, the deputy commissioner of the Budget, and the national commander of the Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor.
