Please pardon the liberty that I take to request you to consider the question between us as completely terminated and thereby putting an end to a painful and distressing situation in which I expressed myself, regarding you were absolutely inspired by my violent character without thinking them out. Likewise I believe that other persons regret this situation and on my part, I tell you frankly that my greatest desire is to live on friendly terms with every one, as in the past, forgetting forever this eminently disagreeable incident.
I take this opportunity, Sir, to reiterate the assurance of my most perfect consideration.
