MY VERY DISTINGUISHED DOCTOR,
I have had the honor of receiving your letter of 1st March. Following your suggestion and in conformity with your idea, I have written right now to Dr. Riedel requesting him to accept the post of counselor.
As it is an urgent matter and there are many waiting for the realization of our plan, I hasten to request you to write a few lines to Dr. Riedel, if your work permits it, in order that he may accept it and thus complete the organization of the Association.
As soon as this is all arranged, I shall leave for Paris in order to look into the manner of opening the first international congress, taking advantage of the Universal Exposition and consulting the rest of the members.
Immediately afterwards copies of the printed constitution and a tentative programme of the congress will be distributed in order that the members of the Executive Board may be able to examine, modify, and correct it.
