With great pleasure I received your interesting treatise entitled “Ars poética tagala” in Zeitschrift für Ethnologie. If you have separate copies I ask you to please give me one and another for Dr. H. Kern, professor of Malay languages at the University of Leyden, Holland. Maramí acong gaua. [I have much work]. Mabuti aua nang Dios. [I’m well, thank God.] Comusta po bagá kayo? [How are you?] Here ends my knowledge of the Tagalog language. I hope you will publish soon a Tagalog grammar and dictionary.
