I have just brought Gov.-elect Faustino Dy, accompanied by Sen. Leonardo Perez, and Gov. Tomas Diaz, CG [Commanding General] of Task Force Lawin together so that they can cooperate on the campaign against the NPA [New People’s Army]. He denies having met Commander Dante [Bernabe Buscayno] in Capas or having brought the NPA to Isabela. He kept talking compulsively like Ninoy [Benigno] Aquino [Jr.] I do not trust him completely.
This afternoon attending the dinner of Let’s Talk Business at the Top of the Hilton where I delivered a short speech and answered questions on the open forum where I engaged in some light banter.
The morning was spent in study of the subject of the speech and the pending papers.
