Posthaste, Paris, 29 November 1889
My dear Friend and Brother,
As I am not strong in Greek and as I have no time to look in a dictionary, I should like to tell you to tell me if what is at the end of your prologue is correct. There it is: [a series of Greek characters] It seems to me is it not quite correct and perhaps it may be said in another way, for it does not seem clear to me. I beg you then to send me by postal card its correct inscription and translated.
Your Memoir is already printed.
