Enclosed are two letters that you may read and you may tell Selo[1] about should you find in them something you do not approve of. I leave it to you. I wrote them both and I will not conceal from you that I am deeply hurt by what those in Manila are imputing to me.
Have you sent the book to Vigil?
Please let me know if I still have some Noli there. I want to take home some.
Do not suppose that I am holding aloof from you, I am still with you; I just wish to let the tempest pass away.
This is all and command me.
