You understand how much I regret the hardships that your family is suffering. I did not have to do anything, for through Castro, I learned what Mr. Linares had obtained, which I would not have surely succeeded to get. Thus, confining myself to applauding the good attitude of Mr. Linares and to deploring the dep sorrow you must have felt upon seeing your aged father banished, I remain.
