Dear Friend,
Your letter brought me only joy at this time and the only thing I regret is that I cannot answer it at once in details, because tomorrow if we have good weather, I shall go on an excursion with my pupils to the mountains and I shall not return until Thursday morning. I hope it would rain tomorrow and if it does, I shall write you a long letter. May it rain then, may it rain!
Cordial greetings of the old ones, kisses of the young folks!
An embrace of
Yours faithfully,
Fernando Blumentritt
