I have just received your magnificent edition of Morga. This edition with your erudite notes will glorify your name. Morga’s Ruifalero is the Portuguese Ruy Falero. Do you know the German book: O. Pechel, Geschichte de Zeitalters der Entdeckungen, Stuttgart, 1877?
I suggest that you look up in the legislation for French overseas colonies what is an assimilated Frenchman. I recall that in French Cochinchina,[1] every native who pays a certain amount of taxes is granted all the rights of a French citizen, including the right to vote. It would be very useful to publish it in La Solidaridad.
